A big shout goes to Frank Dennis of QuantumFit in Indianapolis, IN. After some discussions on Facebook and Twitter, I accepted the challenge to give his January 27th WOD a rip. Its an awesome 20-minute AMRAP (As Many Rounds As Possible) workout that you should definitely try.
The
WOD is to complete as many rounds as possible in 20-minutes
of the following:
- 3 x 225lbs Deadlifts;
- 10 x Push-ups;
- 15 x Double-unders.
I completed
17 rounds in 19:17
(didn't even start in on round 18... I know I'm a wimp, LOL).
Amazingly I averaged 1 round per minute for the first 11 minutes, then the wheels fell off... damn push-ups will be the death of me. Give it a go and post your results to comments. Good luck and happy Crossfit-ing!
