“Angie” is not a very nice lady (Crossfit WOD)

Angie, Angie, Angie… not a very nice Crossfit-lady at all!  I don’t know if I hate her pull-ups or push-ups more… who am I kidding? I hate the whole damn thing.

For those of you who haven’t had the pleasure of making her acquaintance yet, let me give you the run down.  She’s a mean one.  The WOD consists of:

  • 100 Pull-ups (static… Alas, poor me!)
  • 100 Push-ups
  • 100 Sit-ups
  • 100 Squats.

This is a time based workout forcing you to complete each exercise before moving to the next.  i.e. finish your pull-ups prior to moving on to the push-ups, etc.

My time to complete was 18:50. (my only downfall is that I can’t do kipping pull-ups on my bar – ceiling is too low so only static pullups… makes it a lot harder and added about 5 minutes to my time… no excuses however, just means I got to work that much harder)

Well, I can honestly say, after making it through all those pull-ups, “I’m a big kid now!”
