Today I did the Crossfit.com WOD (workout of the day) – it is a great, little grueling triplet comprised of rowing, skipping and burpies. The workout seems innocent enough on paper, but once you get into it you quickly realize there’s a lot of thought that goes into the programming on the dot.com site.
The WOD as Rx’d (prescribed) is:
Record time to complete – voila! Easy, peazie, right? WRONG! My time to complete was 11:08. I need a lot of work on my double-unders as they took me over half of my workout time to complete. The row on the other hand was good at 1:24 and the burpies, all things consdiered, weren’t that bad after everything else… I know if I can get my double-unders in check this WOD should be doable in about 7 to 8 minutes without much more effort.
Oh well, next time. Give it a rip and post times to comments.
