Mondays are meant for Crossfit

Great WOD from CFL! (part 1)

Today was a great day!  Like I’ve said in previous posts about my workouts, I love training on Mondays.  The start of a new week, and the perfect opportunity to set the momentum for my body to persevere throughout the week.  Today’s workout at Crossfit Langley was just what I needed today.

Warm-Up: 4 rounds

  • 15 x double-unders;
  • 5 x pull-ups;
  • 10 x ab-mat sit-ups;
  • 15 x 13″ box step-ups.

Workout of the Day Part 1:  5 Rounds of 3 minute AMRAP w/1 minute rest between rounds

  • 3 x 135lbs Hanging Power Cleans;
  • 6 x Pull-ups;
  • 9 x squats.

My results:

  • Round 1:  5 rounds
  • Round 2:  4 rounds + 3 HPC + 6 PUs
  • Round 3:  3 rounds + 3 HPC + 9 Squats + 3 PUs
  • Round 4:  3 rounds + 3 HPC + 9 Squats + 3 PUs
  • Round 5:  4 rounds (got this one done with 4 seconds left)

Workout of the Day Part 2:  3 Rounds, no rest between sets

  • 1 minute plank;
  • 10 x Knees to elbows.
