The week of Daddy: Day 3…and 100 Overhead squats to boot

Sleepy little girls...

Three days into my week as a solo Dad, while Christie is away in Mexico, and things are trucking along just fine.  (big sigh! phew!)

After a full day of getting the girls to school on time (again – LOL – believe me, it’s harder than it sounds), driving into Burnaby for meetings and then back home to get them after school.  And of course, I had to get my workout in too.

Thankfully, Coach Darren is super cool about my girls coming to hang out at the box.  As a matter of fact, they are pretty low maintenance.

Workout of the Day:  100 Overhead Squats (OHS)

Note:  Each time you put the bar down, complete 7 pull-ups

  • 1st set:  45 reps/7 pull-ups
  • 2nd set:  25 reps/7 pull-ups
  • 3rd set:  30 reps.

I was very happy with this as the last time I did it in 6 sets.  Give it a go and post your results to comments.

    Thanks Coach! Was a great workout. Appreciate all the help you’ve been offering me with my OHS and cleans. Its definitely starting to show.
