So, Murph, we meet again?

Gotta love Murph... well, who says so?

Murph. If you Crossfit and you’ve happened upon him, then you’ll never forget him.  Its one of the toughest Hero workouts Crossfit has to throw at you. To bring in May the right way, Coach Jamie Fiddler (Crossfit Renegade) put up the challenge to a few of us to throw down this beauty and the beast WOD.  And heck, who am not to accept a challenge?

 

The workout is for time:

  • 1 mile run
  • 100 pull-ups
  • 200 push-ups
  • 300 air squats
  • 1 mile run.

My first mile was 6:34, then it took me about 22 minutes to complete the pull-ups, push-ups and squats, followed by a very, long drawn out 10 minute mile.  LOL!  Murph, you got me again!

Total time for me to complete was 38:25 (about a minute better than last time though… I definitely need to work on my running skills).

    Not this time. Until I can do a sub 35 minute Murph, I’m not looking to try it with a vest.
