Nothing like visiting my old stomping grounds for a workout with an old friend. This evening I joined Arthur for a WOD at CrossFit Vancouver (much-needed after a stressful day of last-minute commitments and preparation for 5 days away)… isn’t that always the way – we are most productive right before we leave for a little vacay?

Other than my right ankle still swollen from the sprain a few weeks ago doing the Filthy 50, I felt pretty solid. I think all the Grouse Grinding is helping my recovery along.
My total was 10 rounds plus 3 reps. Definitely went too hard at the start and should have gone out at 1 round per minute and I think I could have sustained that pace… ah well, next time.
