Dai,
Great post! Good statistics too. I am big on breakfast. It is literally the time we are “breaking a fast!” so we need to really eat quality food. I love your blogs blend of nutrition,CrossFit and motivation. Bravo!

Thanks Dr. D! I have to say, I never EVER miss breakfast if I can’t help it. Believe me, you don’t want to see me when I’m H-Angry! (Hungry-Angry) LOL!
This does conflict a bit with those that eat via ‘Intermittent Fasting’ so I’ve learnt lately along with many other helth benefits of avoiding breakfast like:
- Normalizing Insulin Levels
- Normalizing Ghrelin
- Promoting HGH
- Lowering Triglycerides
- Reduced inflammation
etc.
Worth a look anyway.
PS (I’ve been a meat and nut eater for breakfast for years – since the swap I FEEL AWESOME)
Great article! As someone who spent most of their life eating an unhealthy breakfast (pancakes, french toast, waffles + copious amounts of syrup) I can attest first hand the difference i have noticed in my daily energy by switching to a healthier breakfast (protein shakes, eggs, steel cut oats)
