Giving up? What's that mean
Today's workout was tough.  Mentally I had to push myself.  I found my intensity starting to dip and quickly called myself out on it and refocused and re-committed to getting the work done.  I wish I could be this focused with everything I do. Sometimes giving up seems like the best choice, but when we remember our " why " we are going our chosen direction, the internal GPS kicks on.  I'm not at my destination yet, in fact I'm far from it.  But it's the journey that matters most to me...

A) Overhead Squats: 3 x 3 (not at 3RM)

My weights: 185/185/185 lbs

B1) Barbell reverse lunges:  4 x 10/side 
B2) Hand-stand push-ups 4 sets(2 x max strict/2 x kipping)

My totals:   135 lbs / 6 reps, 135 lbs / 4 reps, 135 lbs / 11 reps, 135 lbs / 10 reps

C)  Metcon:  21-15-9

  • Burpees

  • OH squat (95lbs)


My time was a LONG, long 6:04!

My shoulders are cooked!  Thank goodness I don't have anymore training until Thursday night... I need some rest.
