Fitness Town Sunday Funday Throwdown "12 Days of CrossFit"

Fitness Town Sunday Funday Throwdown "12 Days of CrossFit"
I love this time of year!  People rushing around shopping for the perfect gift for that "someone" special in their lives.  I tend to find I'm the best at procrastinating and seem to put off shopping to the last minute every year, always to my detriment.  This year I hunted for a "furby" for my daughters', and no luck!  Who knew it was this year's "tickle-me Elmo" and the #1 requested gift by kids EVERYWHERE... I think shopping in malls on Christmas Eve is harder than any WOD could ever be.  "Get comfortable with the uncomfortable" right?

I swear, next year I will be ready.  I'm starting my 2013 Christmas shopping tomorrow! ;-)

Being that Christmas season is upon us, what better way to finish up our second last Throwdown then with "12 days of Crossfit"?

FIREBREATHERS:  "12 Days of Outlaw"

When I saw this one posted on Outlaw's website , I knew we had our WOD for Sunday Funday

*After completing the first movement go back to 1 and begin again adding a new movement each round. There are 12 total rounds with one new movement being added each round. I.E. do 1 C&J, then 1 C&J + 2 MU, then 1 C&J + 2 MU + 3 Box Jumps, etc. The WOD is complete when the 12 Front Squats are completed.

  • 1 Clean & Jerk @ 225/150#

  • 2 Muscle-Ups

  • 3 Box Jumps 36/30″

  • 4 Hang Squat Snatch @ 115/75#

  • 5 Bar Facing Burpees

  • 6 Push Press @ 115/75#

  • 7 Pistols (alternating)

  • 8 T2B

  • 9 Wall Ball 20/14#

  • 10 C2B Pullups

  • 11 HSPU

  • 12 Front Squats @ 225/150# (no racks)

My time was an incredibly long 69 minutes... this is in fact the longest WOD I've ever had!
