I might not be raised by a chicken farmer, but if I was, I'd be wearing the new Chicken Farmers of Canada logo with pride. Starting this month, consumers will be able to tell Canadian chicken at a glance. The new logo is now donning Canadian chicken in local food markets across Canada.

New Canadian chicken label lets you know that your chicken is raised by a Canadian farmer

Over the past few months, as the Health Ambassador of Chicken Farmers of Canada, I've talked about the  Top 5 Health Benefits of Eating Chicken , 11 Interesting Facts about Canada's Chicken Farmers, common  Health benefits of cooking chicken with the skin on, shared a few of my favorite  recipes , and hosted the monthly #ChickenChat Twitter chats. Bottom-line, I've learned a ton about chicken in Canada!

For those that haven't had the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of the Canadian Chicken Farmers industry, the new logo is symbolic of all the pride, care and passion put into making Canadian poultry the high-quality, household staple that it is today. Be sure to ask your local markets where's the " Raised by a Canadian Farmer " branded products and know that you are getting the best that our country has to offer.
