Hadn't Snatched since Dec.27 due to bicep tendon issue. Wasn't even going to snatch today, was suppose to do 5 rm Squats, but didn't feel like it. So I thought why not Snatch today....hit 100kgs..not my best but very happy, did not expect it, was gunning for a comfortable 90-95, but the mind and body said otherwise!!

Soon very soon for a workout, I am thinking of pulling a gypsy move and going somewhere else like DC's or hybrid.

Shawn, thank you for the comments. I know you can relate to my sentiments... but hey, that's why we do what we do isn't it? When we going to hit a workout together?

Records have been broken when we least expect it, at times when we have no desire to train, we go and do it anyways, forcing the mind to submit itself to our physical desire to crush barbells or to create fire in our lungs. Its these days when you think failure is inevitable but your will overcomes and the goal is reached!! Good job Dai.

We had a great time coming out to CrossFit Fitness Town in Burnaby to have an interview with you Dai!

It was so motivating to watch people that take their personal goals and health so seriously and it shows!

We hope your interview will inspire others to take that first step and keep moving forward!

We look forward to having you again.

LOL! I love that picture of the gym and escalators. Great shot and definitely captures the issue in a still. Have to agree, accountability has to happen with the parents and ultimately with the society they find themselves in. We still teach the masses (and our children in school) that the Canada Food guide is how we are supposed to eat. Check it out here: http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/fn-an/food-guide-aliment/basics-base/quantit-eng.php

Check out all the grains we should be eating even though there's a ton of scientific evidence showing the issues with gluten in our diets...

But again, who's teaching our kids what is okay and what is not ok to eat? It all starts with a conversation around the dinner table.

Thanks for the comments, Owen.

Ask anyone of my kids what dad says about elevators and escalators...their answer right or wrong is they are for fat and lazy people dad. Unless you are handicap or elderly they should be used only as needed. I love watching people drive around a mall/walmart/costco parking lot to get the closest stall. Have you seen this picture http://www.filehurricane.com/media/1350

Look you got me started, if kids are obese it falls 100% on the parent.
