WOD: Diane

WOD:  Diane
Well today's workout of the day was a beauty!  Diane is no princess.  The workout sounds simple enough, but its a grinder through and through from start to finish.

The warm up today was tabata ball slams:  I got a score of 12 and my heart rate was probably around 140 BPM for the entire 8 rounds.

The workout is the below for time:

  • 21 x Deadlift (225 lbs for men/155 lbs for women)

  • 21 x Handstand push ups

  • 15 x Deadlift (225 lbs for men/155 lbs for women)

  • 15 x Handstand push ups

  • 9 x Deadlift (225 lbs for men/155 lbs for women)

  • 9 x Handstand push ups


I completed in 19:33 today.  I was delirious by the end and obviously still looking for punishment so I tried my luck at Muscle ups again... and you know what, I finally nailed it after about 10 minutes of trying.  Special thanks goes out to Kermit, Pete, Max and Shep for helping me finally GET it.
