I don't want to workout, but I need to
I had a long, long day today.  When 5 o'clock rolled around I found myself starting to make excuses for why I should skip my workout today.  There were so many other things I needed to do; so many things that required my immediate attention; so many things to keep me busy. But as soon as you take a step back and look real hard, you realize they are just what they are - EXCUSES.

So of course, what did I do?  I told my inner voice to shove it and got my WOD on.

Today's workout:


Every minute on the minute for 30 minutes complete the following,

  • 3 x 135 lbs deadlift

  • 2 x 135 lbs power clean

  • 1 x 135 lbs clean and jerk


 

After 10 minutes I realized the load was too light so upped it by 30 lbs to 165lbs... then I completed the following 20 minutes as follows

  • 3 x 165lbs deadlift

  • 2 x 165lbs power clean

  • 1 x 165lbs clean and jerk.


 

I was spanked by the end of this... I don't think I could go a minute longer.  Sweat angels all around!

Sweaty angles... just like mom used to make?
