Quick WOD to make a day feel alright
Busy day yesterday and between a doctor's appointment to give more blood, the kids, and work, I was worried that I might not get in a workout.  Fortunately, that was only a worry and not a reality.  I managed to squeeze in a quick WOD at CrossFit BC at 1pm.  Life is always busy and there's always that ONE more thing we need to do, but making sure we each take a moment for ourselves is crucial to staying sane at times of stress.  I know that I'm a different person when I don't get my regular "fitness fixes" in...

... What is that one thing each day that's your absolute "need to get done"?

The Workout:


 

Warm-up:  3 Rounds (not for time)



  • 5 x Handstand Push-ups

  • 10 x V-sit ups

  • 10 x jumping lunges


 

Technique:  5 sets



  • 5 x Chest to ring pull-ups, with turnout at the bottom


 

WOD:  5 rounds of 3 minute AMRAPs for max reps, rest 2 minutes between rounds



  • 10 x Box Jumps 24"

  • 10 x Thrusters with 45lbs bar

  • 10 x Burpees


My total was 10 rounds plus 26 reps... and believe me, I was gassed at the end of this one.  Have a go and let me know what you think.
