Crossfit Langley WOD:  Heavy squats then a Metcon burner

After a weekend of being indoors participating in a writing workshop, I needed a workout badly!  Monday was the day.  Thank you, Coach Darren for a great little burner.

Warmup: 3 Rounds of 20 Double unders, 15 Sit-ups, and 10 push-ups

Strength component:  Back squats

  • 10 x 135lbs

  • 3 x 245lbs

  • 3 x 280lbs

  • 3 x 315lbs


Metcon:  4 Rounds for time

  • 8 x Dumbbell Power Snatches with a split landing (4 per side)

  • 8 x Knees-to-elbows

  • 200 meter run


My time to complete was 7:01
