Day 1: The Week of Daddy "Moose"

Day 1: The Week of Daddy "Moose"
[caption id="attachment_1977" align="alignright" width="225"]Day 1 of the week of Daddy "Moose" - girls early to school? Check![/caption]

Today was the first day on my own with my two beautiful girls.  Mommy (Christie or as on Twitter @Mom_OnTheRun ) has just left for 8 days in Mexico... believe me, she deserves it!  This is her first time away on a vacation without the three of us in tow in over 8 years.  She is a big reason why I'm able to train as frequently as I do, meanwhile still assisting with operations of a multi-store fitness equipment chain.  And I love her for it. (to get an idea of what she does every day, just read her blog Mom on the Run )

Now that I have that out-of-the-way, I gotta say it, "ahhhhhhh!"  I had an inkling of what she did in a given day.  Who am I kidding?  I just thought I did, but now that I've lived day one, I have a very, very, very special appreciation for what she does for me and the girls.  No wonder she needs this trip so badly.  LOL.

But being true to her constant support of me and my fitness goals, she had arranged for someone to take my littlest one, Brie to soccer this evening.  That left Chardonae and I to make our way to Crossfit Langley so Daddy "Moose" could cram in a quick workout.  And cram I did.

Well, day 2 only hours away... this is going to be a piece of cake! (again, who am I kidding? ;-)
