Happy Halloween and a Studeo 55 CrossFit WOD

This morning I made it out to a 7am CrossFit workout at Studeo 55 in downtown Vancouver.  The venue for Studeo 55 is amazing.  They've converted a squash club into a premier personal training studio, with each of the old squash courts are now separate training rooms:  jiu-jitsu, boxing/MMA, indoor soccer, yoga, aerobics, cardio room, strength/conditioning room, and of course, a CrossFit box.   If you ever get a chance to go and check out Studeo 55, do it! (oh yeah, and coolest feature about Studeo 55 is it is located 5 stories up on the top of a parking garage... love it)


Today's warm-up:



  • 4 flights of parkade stairs (5 floors)


Technique:  (3, 3, 3)



  • Front Squat @ 225 lbs, 245 lbs, 265 lbs

  • Weighted Chest to Bar Pullup @ 25lbs, 45lbs, 55lbs


WOD:  10 rounds for time




  • 15 x Hollow Rocks;


  • 10 x KB Swings @ 32kg (2 pood);


  • 5 x Burpees.


My time was 17:26 - mental note - hollow rocks kill me!
