One of the best motivational speeches ever

Post 120 of 646

Do you ever find yourself thinking “I don’t think I can do this” or “what’s the point” or “this is impossible“?

These 3 seemingly innocent self-doubting-thoughts are the psychological seeds that germinate into a self-defeatist mind-state holding us back from reaching our true potential in life, family, career or any other worthwhile endeavor we pursue.

However, in life I’ve had some incredible mentors and coaches, supportive friends and family and a network of positive people who I can draw upon for inspiration and motivation.  Surround yourself with positive people and positive things start to happen… there’s been many a time when I’ve found myself doubting myself and my ability.  At those low-times it’s crucial to reach out to someone positive in your social network to help you through the rough patches.  To pick you up off the mat, dust you off and tell you everything is okay.  It’s those little pick-me-up moments that lets us know we aren’t alone and there are people who care about us.  If that doesn’t motivate you, I don’t know what will.

And when all else fails, there’s a ton of great motivational speeches from some classic movies that always get me fired up.  One of my favorite clips is from Al Pacino’s pre-game speech in the movie, “Any Given Sunday“.

What do you do to motivate yourself?

A. I learned that overcoming challenges are rewarding. You can push yourself to a accomplish more. Plus, learned that I can keep a pretty positive attitude during stressful times.
