Get a B.A.G. and run for the hills
We get comfortable living lives in a constant state of “un-health”.  Our state of mind becomes accepting of our normal every day, so much so that we forget what it’s like to feel good, energetic and full of vitality .  We lose touch with our health/fitness and accept the things as they are and find our enjoyment through past-times whereby we consume too many calories and lead a sedentary lifestyle.  (Did you know that if you sit for more than 8 hours a day you’re killing yourself ?)  And the weight goes on and on and on.

Let’s ask ourselves these questions:



  1. Why do we do it?

  2. Why don’t we make a change?

  3. What do we have to gain by making a decision that challenges the status quo and puts us on a path completely different from that which we are following now?

  4. Ask yourself, “What can I do about it”?

  5. If I could commit to making a change for 2013 that would impact me and my family’s health and wellness forever… would I be ready to do it?


Well, what's your answers to the above questions?  Are you r eady to make a change?

2013 is looming right around the corner and it's time to set some 2013 milestones for ourselves.  Let's set some Big Audacious Goals (BAGs) together!


Here's a couple of B.A.G.'s to consider



Join me and my family as we take part in the 2013 Vancouver Spartan Sprint on May 11th, 2013.  This is a short 5km race nestled in to the beautiful North Vancouver mountain side.  It is a great race for all health and fitness levels and completed at YOUR pace.  It's not about the time, just about finishing - and keep in mind, everyone finishes!

Registering for Spartan Race is easy.  Click on the following link , select the city and date you are planning to do the race and voilà!  You've now committed to joining me and a bunch of other health-focused people as we take on the Spartan Sprint.

Join our Tough Mudder team, "I Want My Mudder!", for the Vancouver race slated for June 22nd, 2013.  Our team is as big as we can make it... so far  Christie  and I registered for June 22nd (Saturday) and we're recruiting anyone who is willing to take on this obstacle with us.  Remember, there's no time limit and we all start together and finish together.  Leave no one behind!
