Bye Bye 2012: Out with the Old and in with the New

Bye Bye 2012: Out with the Old and in with the New
The wise Wayne Dyer said, "You leave old habits behind by starting out with the thought, 'I release the need for this in my life'."  He was right.  With a New Year starting, you set the tone of how you want your 2013 to be.  For it to be the best year of your life you first have to acknowledge what past patterns were holding you back.

Bad vs. Good habits:  Ask yourself these 5 questions

  1. Were existing habits preventing you from reaching your goals in 2012?

  2. What was your #1 goal for 2012 and did you reach it?  Why or why not?

  3. If you could go back to 2012 and change one thing, what would it be?  Why?

  4. If you were to break your life into 4 quadrants, i.e. fitness, finances, family and faith - what would your top goal be for each be?

  5. How would your life change if you were to carry out these goals in 2013?  How would you feel?

Over the past week I've had these questions bouncing around in my head while I review my 2012 in a glance.  I will be posting my thoughts, commitments, and New Year's solutions (not resolutions) for 2013 in the next week.  Stay tuned!
