WODing when you don't want to WOD

WODing when you don't want to WOD
“Health, happiness and success depend upon the fighting spirit of each person. The big thing is not what happens to us in life – but what we do about what happens to us.”  ~ George Allen

Yesterday I took a  moment to revisit a post detailing 65 of my favorite success quotes  - the reason?  Motivation.  Inspiration.  And quite frankly, I just needed something to give me that little nudge out the door.  I'm not going to lie, I didn't want to train yesterday.  I was tired, irritable and feeling "blah"... all these feelings pointed me in one direction and confirmed that I "needed" to workout and relieve all the tensions from the day.  So with that in mind, I read through the quotes, got psyched up and headed to CrossFit BC for the 4 o'clock class.

On the board today was the following

WOD: For Time

  • 25 Handstand Push-ups

  • 50 Toes-to-bar

  • 200m Walking Lunge

  • 75 Push Press 55/75

  • 150 Double Unders

My time to complete was 18:51

Question:   What do you do when you need that little extra push to do the things you know you ought to do?
