"Fran"
- a workout like no other in CrossFit.
Among CrossFitters around the world, Fran is revered like no other benchmark WOD (workout of the day). A seemingly simple workout composed of 2 movements - thruster and a pull-up - yet there's nothing simple about this little lady. Coach Glassman, while retelling the
story of how "Fran" came to be
, summed her up best when he said:
“If a hurricane that wreaks havoc on a whole town can be Fran, so can a workout.”
Fran is engrained as part of the CrossFit community vernacular. If there's one common question asked among CrossFitters globally, it's "what's your Fran time"? Universally accepted as a true baseline workout - if you haven't danced with Fran, you haven't experienced what CrossFit is all about yet.
