Longevity or Vitality? Which one would you want more of?

For me - the answer is simple... BOTH!

What's the point of living to 120 years if I don't have the vitality to enjoy it?

A friend of mine, knowing how much I love to geek out on this stuff both for me and my client's sake, invited me to check out a new app called #Jevitty.

(AND, just to get this out there --- it's one of the coolest health apps I've seen, period. This is going to be a game-changer!)

The app literally syncs with my health data which I track via my iPhone and wearable.

Then using its proprietary algorithm, calculates a score in YEARS based on my lifestyle choices.

It gives me a variable grade based on my lifestyle choices, taking into account:

  • my daily walks (daily steps in relation to a step goal)

  • I'm a non-smoker who doesn't drink

  • exercise frequency and consistency

  • heart rate variability

  • bodyweight

  • body fat % (synced with my recent #BodyComp test from Bodycomp Imaging)

  • sleep patterns

  • daily activity i.e. standing hours vs sitting hours

  • VO2 max (separate test needed for this one - apple watches only provide an approximation)

  • and resting HR


MY SCORE was 120.16 YEARS

This is a slight decline from yesterday based on the fact I had an awful night's sleep last night.

This is fantastic because I can see both the short-term benefit and especially the long-term benefit by making healthy choices each day.

There's no guarantee of course that I won't get hit by a before I make it to 120... but I'm shooting for 200...

...or if longevity sciences continue to advance at the rate that it is, we may
see a cure for death in our lifetime!
