I've been actively attending toastmasters meetings for about 2 and a half years.  And you know what?  I love it!  At first it was hard.  Not so much the talking in front of people – I didn't have a problem with that, but it was learning how to articulate my message without the “um's” and “ah's” and all the other filler words that seem to just cloud the message.

Just recently I have decided to start and post some of my speeches out there (on facebook and my blog) and try to get some constructive feedback from everyone.  I'm enjoying public speaking but know to take it to another level I need guidance and feedback.  Thanks in advance for your help.

On Monday November 29th I gave a speech from one of the many advanced speech manuals (the Entertaining Speaker) – project 3, which is the “make them laugh” project. I decided to do a speech on my addiction

my addiction to … !!!
